RMDECS — RMD Engineering & Consulting Services
About RMD

An engineer's practice, built on flight-clearance discipline.

RMD Engineering & Consulting Services was founded to bring program-grade aerospace structures expertise — sharpened over 35+ years of Navy target-system work — to teams that need it.

The founder

A career built at the intersection of structures, materials, and flight.

Our founder holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cal State Fresno (1988) and a Master of Science in Engineering, specializing in Applied Mechanics, from CSU Northridge (2006). He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California, license #M29766.

Over 35+ years with NAVAIR working in aerial target systems, he served as airframe structural technical lead and held flight clearance authority for all Department of Navy subsonic and supersonic high-performance target systems.

RMD was founded to share that experience — guiding the next generation of aerospace teams to success with the same rigor required for a flight-cleared airframe.
